Friendly staff. Nice place to stop for a quick cold beer or cocktail
Had a great time. For my first visit I sat at the bar for drinks and ended up ordering food. The shrimp po boy was great! Huge portions and tons of fries. Was hilarious to watch people try to do karaoke whilst drunk. It was pretty loud in there because of that, but overall a good experience. Definitely will be back!
Sweet Home is a hidden gem I've come to adore. From the moment you step inside, the friendly staff makes you feel welcomed. The cheeseburger here is simply outstanding, juicy and packed with flavor—definitely a must-try. However, the real star for me is their pizza. My wife and I indulged in a large, thin-crust pizza loaded with fresh toppings, and it was a revelation. The size was generous, living up to its description, and incredibly satisfying - so much so that we had to take some home in a to-go box. Paired with a beer and a diet coke, the meal cost us less than $30, a steal for the quality and quantity. Initially, when we moved to Cropwell, we were advised to steer clear of Sweet Home as it was labeled a "dive." Thankfully, another recommendation redirected us, and Sweet Home has since become a favorite spot. Coupled with the excellent food is the heartwarming sight of families dining together, everyone seemingly content and enjoying their time. For anyone in the area, Sweet Home is definitely worth a visit, whether for a quick meal or a laid-back evening with friends or family.
Gooooo!! Tip your bartender, lovely place. Great drink, great food, great service, and.. KARAOKE
One of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. Hand cut fries , cold beer. What more could you possible need?
Warm and friendly, great food. We started with the fried pickles and moved on to the Philly cheese steak and a blacked Catfish sandwiches with fries and onion rings. To our delightful surprise we were served hand cut fries and homemade onion rings. Kudos to the chef. Everything was truly delicious. We stayed for karoke and it was obvious there was a tight nit group of regulars but they welcomed us and made us feel right at home.
